Robert Helms Supports Project SEARCH at BlueCross

Many times our work takes outstanding Diversified team members beyond the ordinary scope of facility maintenance services. Sometimes it can be as simple as taking time to listen or just being there with a friendly smile. Sometimes it’s much more. Robert Helms, the Diversified Project Manager at BCBS, is one such outstanding team member who has gone the extra mile to help out with one of BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee’s programming initiatives. Wendy Evett, Instructor Coordinator for BCBS’ Project SEARCH explains:

I wanted to take the time to recognize one of your employees located at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Robert Helms – Project Manager. I am the coordinator for a program called Project SEARCH located at BCBST. Project SEARCH is a unique transition to work program that helps prepare young adults with significant disabilities for competitive employment. Robert has gone above and beyond the call of duty with his support of our program. He not only mentors our interns to teach them invaluable job skills but helps build their independence, confidence and self-esteem. Whether it is taking time out of his day to teach a class on industrial hygiene or giving our interns an encouraging word, he is an incredible asset to our team.

Thanks for your dedication to not only the work that we do, but the work that our customers do as well. Your attitude and performance exemplify the qualities that we strive to deliver all our customers every day. Way to go, Robert!
